Blogging, English and Me
English language, no doubt, is a universal language these days. Modern English, sometimes described as the first global lingua franca, is the dominant international language in communications, science, business, aviation, entertainment, radio, diplomacy and now in blogging.
But what if you don’t know English?
The simple answer is that you can’t do blogging, even in your own language. I know English, but not up to the level I should. I make many grammatical mistakes, typo mistakes and spelling mistakes. But now I have decided not to care about all these things. I want to express my thoughts now. Believe me if I don’t do that, my head will burst into pieces………. so many thoughts in it and I don’t find any way to bring them before this world except this blogging.
English is my third language, not even second and how one can expect a post from me without errors.
I was reading a post “Writing without typos is totally outdated by Penelope” and decided not to worry this “English” monster.
I received an sms from my friend today, and that is really interesting.
“Aoccdrnig to a rsceearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno’t mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. the rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm.”
Can you read it?? I hope you can and you did.
And when I checked this paragraph through a spell checker, all words were underlined red…. shit. But who cares? If you can read it, I don’t mind what the spell checker says.
Same is the case with grammar and typo mistakes.
I have decided to keep blogging without fear now, and I suggest you to blog everyday, and don’t be afraid that no one will read it. Everyone will read it, and if no one does, let me know I will.
As you have read my post, now I feel confident that I can blog now…. hurray.
Now lets come to you. If you are English man (here it means you know how to write without mistakes), carry on and if you are not English man, even then carry on. Soon you will get command over it and then no one will point a finger towards you.
Expression of thoughs is important and not the language.
Blogging in English is quite natural now-a-days. I rarely see blogs in other languages.
Nice sharing mate !
